Illumination at Frieze House Seoul

Clubhouse Gallery presents Illumination, its first exhibition in Korea, bringing together new paintings by Alicia Adamerovich, Piper Bangs, Julia Jo, and Caleb Hahne Quintana. The exhibition considers light as both a formal element and a psychological force, tracing how artists working across figuration and abstraction use illumination, shadow, color, and gradation to shape what we see, remember, and feel.

Illumination will be presented at Frieze House Seoul, Frieze House Seoul is Frieze’s permanent exhibition space in Seoul, South Korea. Situated in a former private residence in the Yaksu-dong neighborhood, it serves as a platform for global and local art scenes to connect through a year-round program of exhibitions and events.
